It's funny how my emotions are conflicted. There is a large part of me that wishes I knew how to be more outgoing, how to be able to strike up conversations at the drop of a hat with anyone and make that anyone feel comfortable with me and as though they have known me for years. The art of making friends has never been something I am good at. I find that I am a person who not only craves relationship and social networking but all the ability to be alone. The moments when I want to be alone, invisible even, I never seem to be able to pull off. It is usually during those times of years when family appears in droves. And all I really want to do is just spend some time with my immediate family and/or my close friends.
But then the rest of the time when they are not around I spend my time wishing they were here.
Not making much sense tonight. Just felt like writing this.

I like to say I am a professional in training. I do commission works on a regular basis. But I am always trying to improve my technique. I do not quite feel accomplished yet.
My name is Allyson Hibbard. I own a business by the name of Allyson Artwork. It has been in existence on the web since 2007. I am capable of doing artwork traditionally with graphite, pen and ink, oil and chalk pastels, white and black charcoal, and recently started playing with watercolors. More often though I create images digitally with Adobe Photoshop CS4 using my Wacom.
